This month we have the proverbial 'Stitch in time' help
18th May 2009
All the way around the world for a shortcut
When your busier than ever you just need 'stuff' to work. If you're anything like me then besides, 'you poor thing' you probably only use a tenth of your computer's capability. To improve upon that 10% usage figure it will need an investment of your time and/or money.
With precious little of either going spare just now I bet you'd like to read about how you can save both of those precioius commodities whilst also improving your productivity ? All it will take is a few mouse clicks on your part and to scan the stories below.
'Measure twice cut once' as my dad used to tell me
The 'delay' in sending your emails is my absolute favourite and has saved my bacon on more than one occasion since I turned it on.
One good turn deserves another
Oh and I have not forgoten the luddites amongst us. Here i must confess that with all this hype about Twittering going on I'll be leading the revolution against the machines myself ! In a throwback to bygone days, just today in fact, I took delivery of half a tonne of paper in the shape of several hundred deskpads.
There aren't enough to give to everyone so if you'd like one (and you are a Northern Ireland based business) then please email me at garry.macdonald@tartanis.co.uk
Oh one quick exception.....for Tartan IS customers (ie. Trinity Support, Sophos Anti-Virus, Broadband and/or domain/web hosted customers) and those that have signed up to our newsletter within the last 2 weeks then your deskpad has been kept to the side and will be delivered shortly.
Next time....
Having been signed up to Twitter www.twitter.com/macdonalg for about a week I hope to be able to answer 'What's all this wittering about twittering ?' and 'Does it have any serious return for my business ?'
Until then good luck with your own work and home endeavours and of course for the draw to get on board the Crown Princess !
Kind regards
Garry
