Our 'Business Premium' service is ideal for offices that not only want ultra-fast 24M bit/s internet access but may have specialist requirements that would benefit from the fastest upload speed of 2.5M bit/s.
It now means that you can send between 3-10x as much data as older broadband services in the same space of time.
Some applications would include:
- Replacement of 0.5, 1M or 2M SDSL lines with a viable alternative at a fraction of the SDSL service price.
- Secondary back-up of a dedicated leased lines, again at a substantial cost saving of putting in another leased line.
- Multi-office working where access to a central database application eg. SAGE, specialist business applications such as: Edge, Estimation etc would benefit from the higher upload speeds. Note: this is because older 2M ADSL only uploads at 256K bits/s and even the newer (June 2006) ADSL Max only increased that upload speed to 448K bit/s for the 'Standard' service and 832K bit/s for the 'Premium'.
- Faster VPNs means quicker connections for remote offices and home users.
- The ability to send out emails quicker than previous ie if you had a critical press release that had to be delivered within tighter timescales ie within an hour, you may now achieve it.
- Your overall server performance will improve as you will be able to deliver email far quicker and not have the upload pipe as a bottleneck that the server has to keep checking to see if the email has been sent or not.
- Sending of large, high quality video, photos, drawings will now be 3x quicker than before allowing you to get more done in any given period and/or decrease delivery times to your clients.
